Many migrants and refugees achieve economic autonomy and secure a stable legal status, yet their path to full integration often halts at the threshold of finding a home. Without access to sustainable and dignified housing, they risk losing the progress they have made in other areas of their lives. Migrants and refugees applying to rent have gained the skills needed to be "good tenants" through experiences of hospitality and specific training courses - demonstrating respect for property, real estate, and future neighbors. CIAC provides support and guarantees to homeowners (including, in some cases, financial support) to ensure the experience is positive for both parties.
