Get active to give concrete support to refugees
As an individual citizen, or as part of a family, association, parish, or club, you can provide concrete support to refugees by becoming a territorial tutor for integration. Building a relationship with a refugee opens doors for both parties: it allows the refugee to find practical and emotional support, practice speaking Italian in informal settings, explore the city, and work towards greater independence. At the same time, the tutor gains the chance to witness firsthand the realities often misrepresented by alarmist media and political narratives, and to help reshape these stories and experiences in their own meaningful way.
